Bollywood big hero Salman Khan is an intelligent actor who picks up well acclaimed films from South to be remade in Hindi. Films like ‘Tere Naam,’ directed by Satish Kaushik, a remake to Tamil hit ‘Sethu’ was a fate turning project for Sallu Bhai. From then on, he never looked back growing high with each film inclusive of ‘Wanted’ made from ‘Pokiri’ or ‘Bodyguard,’ inspired from Malayalam ‘Bodyguard.’
Now, we hear of director Satish Kaushik brought the remake rights of Tamil hit ‘Pithamagan’ (in Telugu, it is ‘Siva Putrudu’) starring Vikram and Suriay in leads. Actually, Satish thought of buying the rights long back but it got materialized now. Character of Vikram as a mentally retarded guy was superbly etched by Bala which gave a versatile artist for entire South. ‘I did not have too much clarity on who possessed the rights. After taking a big gap, I am working on the script of this remake. Though this is initial stages, I will approach Salman Khan as soon as script comes to a shape. I feel that none other than Salman can fit into this character,’ said Satish Kaushik. Get ready for one more remake…!
