Indian Superman Targets 300 Crores

What could a producer take home as profit when he or she is investing solid 100 Crores as remuneration for a Hero? Ask veteran film maker Subhash Ghai and he doesn’t mind shooting it straight on Salman Khan’s Superman glory ruling the Indian BO for the moment. Ever since an average film like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ shook the BO collecting more than 150 Crores in just two weeks of run, one can easily expect the number Salman is capable of rounding off if he delivers a real solid hit. 

‘His movies are easily touching Rs.200 Crores. Even if anybody invests Rs.100 Crores to just bag his dates, there is still a chance of doing business with more Rs.100 Crores,’ Subhash Ghai said. Even maverick film maker Ramgopal Varma responded similarly. ‘Salman is now such a big star that if some one makes RGV Ki Aag 2 with him, even that would be a blockbuster,’ RGV jokes.

As Rs.200 Crores became an easily achievable target with in Salman’s range, his next target is Rs.300 Crores.
