Ileana’s debut flick ‘Barfi’ which has won critical acclaims on the very first day of release is also confirmed as a commercial hit. Yes, director Anurag Basu’s latest release with Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana in lead is continuing its successful run amassing Rs.34.20 Crores on first opening weekend. 

Reports from popular trade analysts say that, Monday collections for ‘Barfi’ are on par with Sunday. Thanks to positive reviews and good mouth talk spreading soon. As a break up, we have ‘Barfi’ collected Rs. 9.20 Crores on Friday followed by Rs.11.50 Crores and Rs. 13.90 Crores on Saturday and Sunday. Although released in less number of screens compared to mass pot boilers, ‘Barfi’ still stands to be a hit.
