The controversy surrounding the Pawan Kalyan-starrer "Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu" intensified on Saturday with different voices turning into chorus demanding deletion of objectionable scenes and dialogues.

Meanwhile, Information and Public Relations Minister DK Aruna constituted a committee to recommend deletion of objections scenes. The panel, to be headed by I&PR Commissioner RV Chandravadan, will assess the movie along with film producer Dil Raju and director Puri Jagannadh. It will send its recommendations to the Andhra Pradesh Film Development Corporation.

However, the movie has created a sharp regional divide between the ministers of Telangana and Andhra regions. While condemning the objectionable scenes Aruna herself claimed that the movie had insulted people of Telangana, her cabinet colleague Ports Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, who watched the movie in a theatre in Visakhapatnam, said that the movie had no objectionable content.

Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce President M Vijayender Reddy also demanded that screening of movie should not be allowed till the objectionable scenes were deleted. Leaders of Telangana Rashtra Samithi and other pro-Telangana groups have also demanded deletion of scenes and dialogues.
