Speaking about the release, Chinni Krishna said 'those whoever have watched the movie till now are comparing 'Genius' with 'Prathighatana.' Definitely, there will be a controversy to brew up from this subject. One should have guts to write this kind of story and similar courage to present it on screen. Every student will feel proud after watching the film.' Producer Dasari Kiran Kumar is even expecting a National Award for Screenplay of 'Genius.'
