Ban Lifted - Hurried for Big Release

Kamal Hasan is in a big hurry to release the most awaited film of 'Vishwaroopam' in entire Tamil Nadu. Facing severe hardships from Muslim religious organizations and political pressures with the ban imposed on this Rs.100 Crore budgeted project, Kamal knocked many doors for finding a way out. Finally when Kamal agreed to edit the dialogues and sound clippings in seven scenes during a closed door meeting with Muslim organizations, an agreement was reached as a compromise.

Very soon, Tamil Nadu Government has also lifted the two weeks ban on 'Vishwaroopam' as an immediate reaction to facilitate Kamal in preparing for a very big release. District collectors have revoked the prohibition orders and it is now on Kamal to decide the exact date. However there are 'Kadal' of Maniratnam and 'David' of Vikram released freshly in Tamil. One has to wait and see, how many screens Kamal will get now?
