Rudramadevi's Reign Begins

The regular shoot of Anushka starrer 'Rudramadevi' started in a special arena set at Gopanna Palli on 27th April, 2013. Earlier, 'Okkadu' movie's Charminar set was also erected in this location. The director of this movie, Gunasekhar, revealed that the set was erected by Thota Tharani with crores of rupees. 

Hero Rana is doing the role of 'Chalukya Veerabhadrudu, while Krishnam Raju plays Ganapathi Devudu, Prakash Raj as Sivadevayya, Baba Sehgal as 'Nagadevudu and Suman as Hariharadevudu are doing important roles in the film. Also, the movie has Nathalia Kaur, Adithi Chengappa, Aditya Menon etc., with prominent roles, in it. Maestro Ilayaraja is scoring the music of the film. Gunasekhar, himself, is directing and producing this magnum opus.
