Why Poor Collections for 'Masala'?

With two noted stars of Tollywood acting together in a full fledged cum proved commercial entertainer yet ‘Masala of Venkatesh and Ram could not find its ground on the first day of release. Apparently, all the lead actors like Venky, Ram and heroine Anjali took up the duty of promoting the film by actively in pre release promotions. Being the non-favorite season, first day collections of ‘Masala’ are pathetically lower than that of recently released ‘Bhai.’

Moreover, ratings and public talk for ‘Masala’ were also not completely disappointing. Though there were mixed reviews ranging from 2.75 to 3 stars from critics, revenues from morning show till the second show isn’t varied. It requires a lot of luck for ‘Masala’ to revive from here on. If revenues pick from the weekend, then only well known producers Suresh Babu and Sravanti Ravi Kishore will reach the safe shores else they might have to suffer.
