Bajrang Dal Attacks 'Ram Leela'

Today’s new release of ‘Ram Leela’ from the best artistic film maker of present generation Sanjay Leela Bhansali has faced some obstruction from Bajrang Dal workers in few portions of North India. Reviews of film say that, ‘Ram Leela’ has some sort of connection with ‘Ramayana’ but it was presented in Bhansali’s style with lot of romance filled even with lip locks between lead pair Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. 

There are some scenes where Lord Hanuman is shown dancing, says a Bajrang Dal activist. In Indore, the shows were cancelled in nearly five cinema halls. However, there was no such heat in South India and ‘Ram Leela’ had safe screenings. Controversial content in the movie will surely help it in promotions but surprisingly, reviews have been again pretty divided.
