It was a great sense of respect and gratitude showered by Anushka for one man who turned her career upside down. Before the happening of ‘Arundati,’ we do know Anushka but only as a glam doll oozing lot of skin romancing top heroes on screen. But the story, script and making of ‘Arundati’ was a challenge for producer Shyam Prasad Reddy to invest hugely and also for director Kodi Rama Krishna to bring that grandeur and element of excitement on screen. Of course, thanks to the superb character of Sonu Sood.

‘The reason why I am getting offers like ‘Varna, Bahubali, Rudrama Devi’ is because of Shyam Prasad Reddy Garu. I should convey my thanks to him. If he would not have believed in me during the times of ‘Arundati,’ my career would have been no where near to what I am enjoying today. I just depend on my directors and that is what getting me these kinds of wonderful projects,’ Anushka said.
