Super Star Issued Notices

Bollywood Super Star Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri are served with notices by Bombay High Court under Pre-conception and Pre Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act. In fact, a petition was filed much earlier by a social activist challenging the sex determination of fetus for the surrogate child born for them. For viewers’ information, SRK and Gauri got their third child, AbRam through surrogacy.

The case filed by Deshpande demanded all the documents pertaining to surrogacy process from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) for an inquiry. Later, BMC gave clean chit to SRK saying that there was no case of offence under Pre Natal Sex Determination Act. Justice R P Sondurbaldota issued fresh notices to Shah Rukh, Gauri, Jaslok Hospital and BMC posting the final hearing to January 10, 2014.
