Vidya Balan Getting the Blame Not Fame

From last two days, a standard platform was set for Vidya Balan to take crude criticism and fire from other lady artists in film industry who are venting anger against Government for awarding Padma Sri to ‘Dirty’ lady. However, sources suggest that Vidya’s husband Siddharth Roy Kapoor, a famous and influential personality in film circles is the one who lobbied for Padma Sri to his dearest wife. As we all know, there are many loop holes in celebrities bagging the Padma awards.

Popular film personalities from South like Sri Priya, who is directing ‘Malini 22’ has questioned the Government on basis of giving Padma Sri to Vidya Balan. In fact, ‘Dirty Picture, Ishqiya’and ‘Kahani’ are the only three worth while films in Vidya Balan’s career where she showcased the acting skills. Is this enough worth for Vida to bag Padma Sri? Then what about seniors like Vijaya Nirmala, Jaya Sudha, Lakshmi etc who consistently offered and are offering their services to film industry in one form or the other.
