Siddharth’s fight with Director.

Buzz has it that Siddharth Suryanarayan of Rang De Basanti fame is giving director Chandan Arora a hard time. Arora had roped in Siddharth to play the lead in Striker, where the actor plays a carrom whiz. The story is said to be based on the life of Suryakant, a carrom champ from the slums of Malvani, Mumbai.

The alleged differences between the actor and the director are so many that the film has almost come to a standstill, say sources. "Siddharth wants things to happen his way, while Chandan is adamant about his ideas.

There have been creative differences between the two. The chances of reconciliation seem slim," adds the source. But the director clarifies, "All these rumors about the rift between Siddharth and me are baseless. Striker is complete and the film will release as per the schedule.”
