Trying mythological films is a big risk in current trends of film making. Only senior directors like Late Bapu can attempt them successfully. Here comes actress Madhu Shalini acting as Seetha Devi in the new movie of ‘Seethavalokanam’ which has its teaser released yesterday in the hands of legendary director K Vishwanath. Generally, we assume either Anjali Devi of Black & White age and Nayanathara in Color cinema age as a right fit for Seetha Devi character. 

Taking it as a challenge, Madhu accepted the character of Goddess Seetha Devi in the film of ‘Seethavalokanam,’ Guests present at the occasion were going in all praises for Madhu for performing so well in such a peculiar role. Despite a risky move, Madhu has signed the film because director Venu is a good friend of her.
