Varma’s “Aavaham”100 times scarier to “Bhooth”.

Versatile Filmmaker Ramgopal Varma has revealed that he will make a sequel to his horror film “Phoonk” that is “Raksha” in Telugu. The film will be called “Phoonk 2” and “Aavaham” in Telugu.

“Phoonk 2” stars Kannada actor Sudeep along with Amruta Khanvilkar and child actress Ahsaas Channa. The same is expected to be dubbed into Telugu as “Aavaham” rather than going with Jagapathi Babu as hero in direction of Akella as he has done with “Raksha.”

Unlike “Phoonk”, “Phoonk 2” will not be directed by Ramgopal Varma but writer Milind Gadagkar will direct it. Talking about the story of the film, Ram Gopal Varma said, “If the entire “Phoonk”story was about a evil woman who practices black magic to torture and kill a little girl and how a tantrik kills the evil woman. “Phoonk-2” that is “Aavaham” starts off with the spirit of the evil woman coming back from the dead and brutally murdering the tantrik. “Aavaham’ will be atleast 100 times scarier than “Bhooth”
