The major complaint reported by many of the critics and film analysts is about the excessive length or say run time of ‘I.’ Generally, Shankar being a good story teller his films run for extra length keeping the viewers glued to screens. However, the same has become a curse for Vikram’s film because there is immense lag in the film and audience aren’t tolerating it. Reviewers have also suggested the makers on taking some immediate steps by editing few of the portions in first and second halves saving the patrons in theatres.
Till now, nothing of such has happened. ‘I’ movie run time locked at 187 minutes during the Censor procedure remained the same even now. Definitely, there are some good points in the film but makers are adamant in curtailing the length and finally giving an overall boring experience for public.
