If Not Samanta, Who Can Be 'Queen'?

‘Queen,’ the best heroine centric film of Bollywood has also bagged Best Actress Filmfare award for actress Kangna Ranaut. On commercial front too, this movie entered into 100 Crores club for decent portrayal of central character by Kangana. This success has allured South industry al-rounder Thyagarajan to bag the remake rights of all South Indian languages by paying a decent price. From then on, he is on hunt for a suitable female lead artist to take the project on sets. 

Initially, Samanta was the name on top. This choice would help Thyagarajan’s production cost to come down because she can be an apt artist to get the early business roll on in both Telugu and Tamil languages. However, Sam seems to be not so comfortable with the role and kept the case in pending. Now that Kangna bagged a Filmfare Award, the issue is back in news. Hope, Sam realizes the potentiality of ‘Queen’ and opts for a quick approval of the offer.
