On the other side, Rakul is showing the thirst to get into performance based roles so that it would give long mileage for career. One such opportunity at her door step is Telugu remake of 'Bangalore Days' to be directed by Venu Sreeram of 'Oh My Friend' fame. Producer Dil Raju and Prasad V Potluri are jointly searching for right star cast to fit in.
As per an update, Rakul Preet Singh is going to be offered with the Paraplegic character played by Parvathy Menon in the original. It's the role of a RJ and Parvathy has fit so well. The classic romantic track of Parvathy and Dulquer Salman stood as pillar strength for the film with immense feel good factor. As the character has got lot of scope to perform, Rakul would have no qualms in signing on the dotted lines irrespective of the number of call sheets needed and remuneration issues.
'Bangalore Days' is a romantic comedy drama film, written and directed by Anjali Menon. Amidst lot of competition, the remake rights for other South Indian languages are bagged by Dil Raju and PVP Cinema.
