Teja Complaints On 'Srimanthudu' Also!

Film maker Teja appears to be a completely upset man with current Tollywood trend showing no development in creativity and new thoughts. Just before his ‘Hora Hori’ set for release in coming few weeks, Teja is utilizing on every opportunity which can fetch his film a great margin of promotion. He even compared ‘Bahubali’ and ‘Jayam’ in one balance. In the same go, the maverick director also has complaints about Mahesh Babu ‘Srimanthudu.’

‘As far as I know, Telugu films are stuck within two formulas. One is ‘Gundamma Katha’ formula and the other one is ‘Babu’ formula. In ‘Gundamma Katha’ formula, a hero comes to work in villain’s house and next moment, we will know that villain’s daughter or sister is in love with hero. After interval, a comedian knows about this but fails to reveal the truth before villain. In ‘Babu’ formula, a hero comes to village or city unaware of his past flashback. He knows the real identity in interval. Second half would be about flashback and how hero achieves the goal.

People haven’t changed and they are starved of entertainment because the same audience made another ‘Babu’ formula film (to be noted as ‘Srimanthudu’) a big hit. 

I can say that, many of our heroes do not know about film appreciation, what they knew is only self appreciation. All the Fans appeasing dialogues in films show their urge for self appreciation. Now, they have to think about impressing the common audience not just the Fan clubs,’ Teja said in a recent interview.
