'Bahubali' in Oscar Race!

‘Bahubali,’ the film which has become pride of Indian cinema is going high places by beginning its way for an official entry into Oscar Race under Best Foreign Language Film category. According to reports, the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce has officially announced ‘Bahubali’ as the official entry from Telugu film industry to Indian Selection Committee jury headed by Amol Palekar. 

The five members Oscar selection panel is in Hyderabad to list out 45 Indian films which can compete in the upcoming Academy Awards entry list. Despite the presence of Aamir Kha PK, Anurag Kashyap Ugly and many interesting critics appreciated flicks like Mary Kom, Haider, Masaan, Piku, Manjhi etc, the grandeur in visuals and technical excellence can be a cakewalk for ‘Bahubali.’ Along with commercial success, recognition at Academy Awards can be great achievement for Telugu cinema.

If at all Rajamouli and his producers begin their inner lobbying, the way may not be so long for ‘Bahubali’ to create a new history. Let us wish all the best to entire team.
