Karan Johar ‘s forthcmoming film My name is Khan  may be uniting Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, almost eight years after their Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.The story of My name is Khan  is about Rizwan Khan (Shah Rukh), a Muslim who suffers from Asperger syndrome, a form of autism.It is a pervasive developmental disorder in children that is characterized by abnormalities of social interaction and communication that pervade the individual's functioning.

Rizwan marries a Hindu single mother Mandira (Kajol) in the United States, but following the terror attack of 9/11 on the Twin towers of New York, Rizwan is detained by the authorities at Los Angeles international airport. The authorities mistake his physical and communicative disability to be suspicious behavior.

The remaining part of the story is how the Muslim identity of the person makes life difficult for him in that country.The film is likely to be a released in February and the expectations are high for this film. They hope to receive an overwhelming response to the film as it did in the case of the award-winning Tare Jamin Par!
