Sudeep Divorced - Alimony 19 Crores!

Alimony is the cost of financial support a husband provides his wife during divorce for her future maintenance. We might have heard of plenty of rumors on Pawan Kalyan, Hrithik Roshan and many star heroes paid this alimony worth Crores but nothing officially came out. This time, sensational news broke out in Sandalwood when Kannada Super Star Sudeep is separated from his wife Priya by paying alimony of Rs.19 Crores. He is popular in Telugu for being a super hit villain in 'Eega.'

‘It was a divorce with mutual consent. They ended 14 years marriage relation through a family court which granted divorce on Friday. They had only daughter Saanvi, who will now be under the mother’s custody,’ a legal source from Bengaluru reported.

Sudeep reacted on this. ‘Though, we took divorce this does not bring any change in my connection with daughter. I love her so much and she is my first priority forever,’ Sudeep said. ‘About the alimony, I am doing it for my wife and my daughter,’ Sudeep added.

Priya initiated the divorce process two years ago living separately from Sudeep. Though decided to take a chance and gave a try to rebuild their relation, nothing worked. In fact, Sudeep invested big amount on Priya’s event management company started in 2013. Yet, they two share a cordial relation by appearing together at family functions and get together parties.
