Till date ‘Manam’ has been the highest grossing film from Akkineni camp heroes. Thanks to the magical combination set by director Vikram Kumar for the film which made it first family multi star film in Tollywood. Presence of Late ANR along with Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Akhil generated soft corner among Telugu audience which resulted in a blockbuster output. 

After a big time gap taken by Nagarjuna trying to forget the sad demise of ANR and also the upsetting result of Akhil’s debut film, here he arrived before us with ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ released as pleasant Sankranti family offering. Beating stiff opposition in the form of ‘Nannaku Prematho, Dictator’ and ‘Express Raja,’ audience declared ‘SCN’ as the perfect festive winner.

With unique BO reports flown from domestic and overseas buyers, trade sources have set a goal of Rs.40+ Crores share for the movie in complete run. If this happens, ‘SCN’ would either break ‘Manam’ records or stand just next to ‘Manam.’ Well, what more does Akkineni Fans ask for? They just say, Thank You Nag!!!
