This Week, Horror Weak!

This might be umpteenth time we are talking about the ongoing trend of horror and thriller flicks mixed with comedy and strong story element made in shoestring budgets with high scoring success rate is ruling Tollywood business. Off late, ‘Kshanam, Raju Gari Gadhi’ stood best examples on how upcoming talents are gaining due recognition within a limited space available.

In to the same stream, two so-called horror films released this week are ‘Thulasi Dalam’ and ‘O Sthree Repu Raa.’ With such strapping titles, horror loving public waited for these movies to grace in theaters. Amidst a heavy positioning problem, both the flicks have got meager number of release screens and that was infact worthier than their product quality.

‘Thulasi Dalam’ is declared a disappointing fare from RP Patnaik while ‘O Sthree Repu Raa’ is more of short film stuff than feature film for Ashok Reddy. So, don’t waste your time thinking about these movies. This week, the horror is weak.
