Kabali Collected 250 Crores: Thanu

Well, Rajinikanth’s stardom is never a question before any of us. He is the biggest Super Star, our country has ever seen. But this doesn’t mean, producers can go at their will and wish declaring some unbelievable 'Kabali' day 1 figures. While some say this as a trick to covert black money into white, others say producer Kalaipuli S Thanu is just fooling the audience in India and worldwide by revealing fake figures.

‘In India, ‘Kabali’ has earned Rs 250 Crores which includes Rs 100 Crores from Tamil Nadu and Rs 150 Crores from places outside the state in India,’ a statement from producer’s office reads. When we people feel amazed with Rs.100 Crores set as standard benchmark for many films, ‘Kabali’ breaching it on first day is sure to choke our brains.

The same statement read, ‘Kabali’ was released in approximately 8000-10000 screens all over the world. Besides Rs. 250 Crores within India, Thanu said that Rs. 100 Crores more are reported from other parts of the world. It’s left to individual viewers perspective to digest this mock-up figures from Thanu.
