“Why do heroines move?” Chandra explains

Heroines moving from one industry to another have been common for many years. However off late it has been happening more often. Even top heroines like Asin, Shriya and others are showing interest in Bollywood while Bollywood heroines have shown interest in the south as well. Recently director Chandra Siddarth spoke about it and explained the same.

He said that heroines move to other industries for better roles. Meanwhile he also added that there are those who move since they do not  get offers at all. He added that there are those who are against skin show and adding too much glamour to their roles. However the shifting of heroines between industries has resulted in some of the most popular faces in the history of Indian cinema.
