Devineni Nehru No More!

Devineni Nehru, the popular TDP leader from Vijayawada region is no more. He passed away at a corporate hospital in Hyderabad early hours today suffering with major cardiac arrest. As per reports, Nehru aka Rajasekhar was admitted in hospital last week for treatment of a heart related ailment.

After Congress suffered a major defeat in 2014 elections, Nehru along with his son Avinash joined TDP. He is considered as most influential leader in Krishna district with huge base. During his 35 years political career, Nehru played major role in TDP and Congress. 

Nehru’s son Avinash was said to be standing by the side of his father in last moments before the tragic incident. Nehru served as Cabinet Minister in 1994-96 during the regime of NTR and won as MLA for five terms from Kankipadu Assembly. Hearing the news of Nehru’s death, his followers amassed hugely at his house in Vijayawada where the final rites will be held.
