TRS disrupt Gopichand's 'Golimar.'

Hyderabad, Feb 1: After a brief lull, the pro-Telangana activists on Monday disrupted the shooting of Gopichand starrer film `Golimar’ on the outskirts of the City.Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) activists barged into a Rytu bazaar in Kukatpally, where the shooting was in progress and damaged the film equipment and allegedly attacked some of the crew.Eminent producer-cum-director Puri Jagannath is making the film under the banner of Vaishno Academy. Actress Priyamani and senior artiste and former TDP Mahila president Roja were also playing lead role in the film.

The TRS activists threatened the film crew of dire consequences if they go ahead with the film, which is being produced by 'Samaikya Andhra people.' As the TRS activists did not relent, the film crew cancelled the shooting and left the place.Condemning the attack, Roja wondered whether the activists were living in a democratic world or in the jungles.Earlier, the government had promised security to film shootings in Telangana region following attacks on film crew. However, the attack belied the Government commitment.
