Thala Challenges Nithin, Boyapati!?

Tamil film Vivegam starring Ajith and Kajal Agarwal in lead roles directed by Siva is produced by Thyagarajan. First look teaser and trailer of this mass commercial movie have created enormous buzz in trade circles.

Vivegam also includes Vivek Oberoi and Akshara Haasan in prominent roles while Anirudh rendered music and camera work handled by Vetri.

Though Ajith made his debut in Telugu more than two decades back with Prema Pusthakam, he concentrated mainly on Tamil Cinema throughout his career without bagging much stardom in Telugu states. Of course, he is currently in the big league of actors in Tamil Industry.

But, Ajith is recently seen increasing his fan base even in Telugu movies. His recently released Yentha Vaadu Gaani did decent business in Telugu States which shows that given a right hit in Tollywood, he can be lethal.

As per an update, Ajith's  Vivegam is doing a record pre-release business even in Telugu.

Vivegam Telugu dubbing rights are heard to be sold for a whopping 4.50 Crores, highest ever for an Ajith starrer in Telugu.

Makers are planning to release this movie simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu on August 10.

With already Nithin’s LIE and Boyapati Sreenu Jaya Janaki Nayaka releasing on August 11, let’s see if Vivegam could manage decent figures on the Independence day long weekend.
