Chandrabose imitates Shankar Mahadevan

Lyricist Chandrabose has created a new trend in Tollywood with his light hearted and message oriented lyrics. This Engineering graduate has been felicitated with good number of awards but it is not a surprise for many that Chandrabose has initially started his filmi career as a playback singer.

Watching Chandrabose in many of the TV Singing Reality shows and Competitions as a mentor and judge, it would be a good lesson for budding artists to inspire. Chandrabose has been part of a Singers competition as a mentor and judge in MAA TV. When the context about versatile singer Shankar Mahadevan has come up for discussion in the show, Chandrabose has taught a good lesson to participants by singing few lines of song ‘Shaawa Shaawa Bhalle Bhalle’ in ‘Chintakayala Ravi.’

A peculiar aspect of Chandrabose singing abilities was that he perfectly imitated the style of actual singer Shankar Mahadevan who brought life to the tune by singing the main lyric (pallavi) in six different tempos at one go. Chandrabose has done the same feat in the show with an ease mesmerizing the audience, participants, mentors and judges…thus getting a standing ovation.
