Padmavat Release Date Confirmed

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic magnum opus Padmavat is finally set for release after a series of postponements and innumerable controversies. As far as the latest report goes, this Deepika Padukone starrer will release on January 25^th as Republic Day special. The theatrical trailer of this movie has received tremendous applause and the expectations have sky-rocketed.

The official announcement from the makers is expected anytime soon, today. This movie which was supposed to release on December 1 had to face several protests and censor delays before the movie is finally gearing up for the Republic weekend release. We will have to wait and see if the protests stop after its release.

The censor has however cleared the movie with few changes and we heard that Sanjay Leela Bhansali has reshot few scenes that were cut.  Also starring Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji and Shahid Kapoor as Ratan Singh, Padmavat has music for songs given by Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself while background score was rendered by Sanchit Balhara and cinematography is handled by Sudeep Chaterjee.
