Puri narrates his son's shocking story
Puri Jagannath's son Akash impressed all with his performances as a child actor and recently turned hero with Andhra Pori. Now Puri himself is directing his son in a romantic thriller Mehbooba which has an Indo-Pak backdrop.
Akash is romancing Neha Shetty in the film which released the second song. Speaking at the event Puri said, 'When Akash was young, he used to stand in front of me waking up from sleep every morning. He used to recite the dialogues of Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna and pester me for roles.
Unable to bear his torture, I cast him in Ram Charan's Chiruta. Later he starred in Mahesh Babu's Pokiri. During that time, he penned a story and gave it to me. When I read it with curiosity, he readied a story in which he created his role as Mahesh Babu's friend and he takes revenge on villains after they kill Mahesh Babu mercilessly. Akash asked me to show this story to Mahesh Babu. I told him that if I show it to Mahesh Babu, he will thrash both of us."
Mehbooba which is in post-production stages is scheduled for release on May 11th.
