Oke Okkadu To BAN: Fall Of Journo Values

Super Star Mahesh Babu's powerful act as Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh in Bharat Ane Nenu drew comparisons with Action King Arjun's Oke Okkadu, a blockbuster few decades ago. 

While Arjun, an honest TV reporter becomes Chief Minister for one day due to turn of events, Mahesh Babu, son of a CM becomes Chief Minister after his father's death, though he was uninterested initially. 

But the amazing transformation in both the films caught everyone by surprise. While in Oke Okkadu, Arjun exposes the Chief Minister in a live show which won the appreciation of movie lovers, in Bharat Ane Nenu, Mahesh's stinging criticism of media in the climax drew whistles. Many say that, this shows the fall of journalistic values and ethics in the society.
