Mind blowing, awesome, enthralling, most envious…what more can I say about the first trailer of ‘Varudu’ that is now running to full houses on Studio N channel. The duration of the promo was below 20 seconds, but the interest it has generated is worth mentioning.

Allu Arjun clad in the costumes of groom with his six packed body, heroine (only side part of her face revealed in hidden angle) in bridal costumes, the eye catching set of the marriage pandal (mandapa) and at last the melodious song with lyrics related to marriage occasion; your eyes feel of viewing eighth wonder on this planet earth. That’s the richness I caught on my LCD screen.

One thing that comes clear for me is that, Director Gunasekhar has targeted the song of ‘Alanaati Raamachandrudi Kannaa…’ from ‘Murari’ with most charming Mahesh Babu. After that memorable song of ‘Srikaaram Chuttukundi…’ of Baapu from ‘Pelli Pusthakam,’ no doubt the song from ‘Murari’ has taken the driver seat at every marriage occasion on our Telugu land. Now, I doubt Allu Arjun’s song from ‘Varudu’ is to go more heights than that…and let us say hats off for Gunasekhar.
