Devadas Not The First Choice

Nagarjuna, Nani's multi starrer Devadas directed by Sriram Aditya of Bhale Manchi Roju fame is releasing amidst huge expectations today across the world. Nagarjuna who is playing the role of don Deva is romancing Akanksha Singh who is seen as Janhvi, while Nani who is playing the role of soft doctor Das is romancing Rashmika who is seen as Pooja.

Nag speaking to scribes surprised all saying; Devadas was not the first choice for the film’s title. He revealed that at first the makers planned to name the film as Krishnadas but later changed it to Devadas. 

He said producer Ashwini Dutt went by sentiment and as Mahanati turned out to be a hit, he opted for Devadas which has a classic touch and the recall value will create powerful impact on movie lovers. He said that was the reason why the makers used Royal Salute Bottle in the film's posters.
