Short Beauty’s Casting Couch Classes

MeToo movement is sending shock waves across the country in various professions and especially in the film industry in the country. Many actresses named and shamed top celebrities. While most of them welcomed the change of attitude among females and heroines, others criticized their shoot and scout approach.

Now Short Beauty Nithya Menon known for her bold take on various issues surprised all taking casting couch classes. Nithya who said she never faced any sexual harassment as such however she empathized saying, "I completely understand the thing that people are facing. I do everything possible to counter it. Just because I am not doing it one way, doesn't mean that I am not countering those things or I am not against it. I am, but I have a different approach."

She added, "I have the same view as everybody else, but I prefer doing it my way. I don't think that somebody is doing anything wrong or I don't want to be a part of it. I am very much part of it. It's just that I have a different way of countering the whole thing."

She even stunned all saying she walked out of one project due to casting couch problem. Nithya is currently playing the role of legendary actress Savitri in NTR biopic and is also making Bollywood debut in Akshay Kumar's film Mission Mangal.
