Flop Stars Helping Vijay Devarakonda

Young and Happening hero Vijay Devarakonda’s Taxiwala made on limited budget had done moderate business in its first week, despite receiving mixed talk after its release. The Rahul Sankrityan directed film recovered its investment in just couple of days.

Most of the films released along with or after Taxiwala got negative talk, except for super star Rajinikanth’s 2.0 which minted nearly 42 crores in Telugu states. The Shankar directed film too has slowed down after first weekend. However, Taxiwala is still raking decent numbers.

Recent releases of flop stars- Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas’s Kavacham, Sumanth’s Subramanyam and Sundeep Kishan’s Next Enti have been slammed by critics and audience alike. Post release talk of these films is again helping Taxiwala.

Movie buffs, especially youth are choosing to watch Taxiwala over new releases of this week. As per trade reports, occupancy of Taxiwala is better than all the films other than 2.0.
