She Became Heroine To See London

Nithya Menon who is renowned for her natural killer expressions and realistic performances on screen is known to be extremely choosy. She is currently starring in the role of legendary actress Savitri in NTR biopic undertaken in a prestigious manner by Natasimha Balakrishna. Apart from it, she is making her Bollywood debut with Mission Mangalyan and is also starring in a Kollywood film, which is a biopic on former TN CM Puratchi Thalaivi Jayalalithaa.

Nithya, despite the Tollywood's preference for slim beauties, however is disappointing all with her heavy structure. Even though she gets advices from various circles, regarding her weight, she ignores all of them saying people love her the way she is. In the meantime Nithya made surprising revelations.

When asked about rumors that she was not interested in films, Nithya said, "Frankly speaking I did not enter film industry with a passion. I dreamed of entering into media. During that time, director KB Kumaran asked me to star in Malayalam film Akasa Gopuram in the summer holidays. As he told me that the shooting was in London, I thought this way I could see the city and so signed the film. Now in my leisure time, I am writing stories and already completed two stories."
