Gunasekhar, Maniratnam following NTR!

One would easily wonder, what made Gunasekhar really pulled towards making of this high budgeted ‘Varudu’ which lacked the basic plot. Although, we find the shades of our ancient epic ‘Ramayanam’ in the movie, but as said earlier the content really missed to reach the audience.

As the result of ‘Varudu’ is out now…here follows creative director Maniratnam who is busy with the picturization of climax for ‘Raavan.’ The message and information is clear in market that, ‘Raavan’ is basically a modernized concept of ‘Ramayana’ with same kind of characters, in which villain Raavan will be the hero rather than Rama.

This is nothing but second half of ‘Varudu’ in which villain Raavana that is the role of Diwakar portrayed by Arya has dominated Rama like Sandeep portrayed by Allu Arjun. Strictly speaking, it was during the times of legendary NTR that role of Raavana has grabbed importance and became the main hero in many of his movies like 'Bhukailas'. Now, after many years Gunasekhar and Maniratnam are following his trend.

But, positive results are expected only when experiments satisfy the audience. Of course, there can’t be second NTR’s in the market to satisfy us and earn positive results.
