Aishwarya Rajesh's Kousalya Krishnamurthy which released a couple of weeks back attracted many. The film directed by Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao is the remake of Tamil hit Kanaa. Kousalya Krishnamurthy highlighted the ordeal of farmers and the struggle of a farmer's daughter in realizing her dream of playing for Indian cricket team.
The makers got a pleasant surprise when World Badminton Champion Pv Sindhu, Coach Pullela Gopichand, Chamunderswarinath watched the film and heaped praises on it.
Pv Sindhu interacting with the scribes after watching the film said, “I watched the film and it is really good. The film showed how women came out, realized their strength and achieved their ambition. They also showed farmers issues. Farmers are responsible for what we are eating today. The film gave a good message to the society on how girls with confidence came forward to play cricket and also the importance of farmers. It has a very good message and emotions. Aishwarya Rajesh not only worked hard but also acted in a natural manner."
Nonetheless, Kousalya Krishnamurthy is underperforming at box office.
