'Simha' title dispute in Telangana!

The first talks are slowly rolling out and Nandamuri fans are almost in celebrations. But, here is news from Osmania University Ph.D student named Vinod. Vinod is an enthusiast in writing scripts and stories. Away from his research work, Vinod penned a story and script to get it registered in Film Chamber with the title ‘Simham’ few years ago.

When the time for renewal of his title has come, he approached Film Chamber and submitted the requisition. Main allegation by Vinod was that, issuing of same or similar titles like ‘Simha’ and ‘Simham’ is against the rules of Film Chamber. He is waiting for the release only to find out that, is story of ‘Simha’ is same as his ‘Simham.’

Osmania students JAC has extended their support for Vinod and said that they would again ban the release of ‘Simha.’
