Who can forget Vivek Athreya’s crime comedy Brochevarevarura that released in 2019?The film made on a shoestring budget with ensemble star cast emerged as the sleeper hit film that won accolades from audience and critics alike. Now, the film has made its way to Bollywood wherein actor Ajay Devgn has bought the Hindi remake rights.
The news was confirmed by trade analyst Ramesh Bala, "Actor @ajaydevgn has bought the Hindi remake rights of 2019's Telugu crime comedy #Brochevarevarura. He will produce it with others starring in the remake."
The Hindi remake will have newcomers. Deven Munjal will be making directorial debut, while the cast includes Abhay Deol and Karan Deol. There are some other faces that would be joining the team soon. The original film was written and directed by Vivek Athreya which starred Sree Vishnu, Nivetha Thomas, Nivetha Pethuraj, Satyadev Kancharana, Priyadarshi Pullikonda and Rahul Ramakrishna.
On the work front, Ajay Devgn is busy with Rajamouli’s RRR. Reportedly, the actor hasn’t charged a fee for RRR and has readily obliges to come on board out his camaraderie for Baahubali director.
