Actress injured during shoot

Actress Raai Laxmi suffered a minor leg injury while shooting for a sequence for her upcoming Telugu film in Hyderabad. The underwater sequence was being filmed on Raai Laxmi, actors Pradeep Rawat, senior actor Suresh and 18 other stuntmen in the location.

The makers have clarified that Raai Laxmi underwent treatment for the same and is expected to join the sets soon. The actress, who’s returning to Telugu cinema after Where is The Venkatalakshmi?, is playing the lead role in the project being produced by Rochisree Movies and helmed by Ramana Mogili. 

Raai Laxmi has multiple releases in many languages this year – Ananda Bhairavi in Telugu, Cinderella in Tamil, Ottakkomban in Malayalam and Jhansi IPS in Kannada. She currently stays in Bengaluru but had briefly shifted her base to Mumbai where she did a few Hindi films including Akira, Julie 2, Officer Arjun Singh IPS Batch 2000 and the web series Poison 2.
