Thalaivi arriving on Vinayaka Chavithi

Kangana Ranaut's prestigious starter Thalaivi was directed by AL. Vijay has been capturing the imagination of all for a long time. The makers announced the film's release date in style with a new poster. 

The film is grandly releasing on September 10th offering Vinayaka Chavithi treat. The new poster showed Kangana Ranaut and Aravind Swamy striking a romantic pose as Jayalalithaa and MGR. The story is penned by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad for the Jayalalithaa biopic. 

The film has a star-studded cast of Nassar, Bhagyashree, Samuthirakhani, Madhubala, Jishu Sen Gupta, Flora Jacob and Poorna as Karunanidhi, Sandhya, Veerappan, Janaki Ramachandran, Sobhan Babu, Indira Gandhi and Sasikala respectively.
