Varma's film director passed away

Saurabh Narang, one of the best followers of Ramgopal Varma and director of ‘Vaastu Shastra’ passed away today morning while undergoing alternative treatment for stomach cancer at Colombo. Today, when entire Bollywood was mourning for the demise of Kama Sutra model Viveka Babajee, death of Saurabh Narang came as a second jolt for Bollywood.

Barely in his 30’s, Saurabh Narang started off quite young in the industry when he bagged an opportunity to direct one of the first horror films coming from the house of Ramgopal Varma. Although this film starring Sushmita Sen and JD Chakravarthy was a moderate success, Narang was looking at making a comeback by directing a new film titled ‘Return Gift.’

Directors Mahesh Bhatt, Madhur Bhandarkar, Milap Zaveri mourned his death.
