India Lockdown teaser review

Madhur Bhandarkar is renowned for thought-provoking and message-oriented films. His recent film Babli Bouncer with Tamannaah captured the imagination of all. Now his next film India Lockdown,a Zee Original is racing for grand streaming on December 2, 2022. The makers today released the teaser of the film and it at once went viral on social media.

The teaser starts with the imposition of the first lockdown in the country and Shwetha Basu Prasad as a sex worker questioning the seriousness of the covid. Prateik Babbar played the role of a migrant worker who decides to go to his hometown due to a lack of work. Ahanana Kumra played the role of a pilot who gets addicted to drinking due to lack of a job.

India Lockdown happens to be the first feature film on the lockdown imposed due to covid and the after-effects. It deals with the four parallel stories.  Shweta Basu Prasad, Aahana Kumra, Prateik Babbar, Sai Tamhankar, and Prakash Belawadi are playing important roles in the film. Madhur Bhandarkar penned the story along with Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah. The film is bankrolled by  Dr. Jayantilal Gada of PEN Studios, Madhur Bhandarkar’s Bhandarkar Entertainment, and Pranav Jain’s P J Motions Pictures.
