Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 did the unthinkable. It crossed Rs 500 Crores mark at the boxoffice at the end of its run including all languages. The Maniratnam directorial also completed 50 days run at several locations in Tamil Nadu. PS 1 emerged as Industry Hit in Tamil Nadu and highest grossing Tamil Film in overseas. The team is ecsatatic about the success of Magnum Opus and is gearing up with renewed zeal for the second part.
