The iconic Titanic which was released in 1997 is returning to theaters for its 25th anniversary. The James Cameron directed film stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. It was a massive blockbuster and was the first film to reach the billion USD mark and collected a humogous $2.195 billion USD total. After 13 years finally James Cameron's Avatar surpassed it in 2010. It still stands at Top 5 Highest grossers of all-time. It bagged 11 Oscars,  Titanic will celebrate its 25th anniversary in theaters in a special limited-time 3D 4K run on valentine's day, 14th February 2023.

Titanic was made with 250 million dollars and is one of the most expensive movies in cinema history, and the most expensive at the time. The DVD released a few weeks later was the first to sell over a million copies. James Cameron’s blockbuster is now being remastered. It was also has a release in 2012 in 3D version but the resolution of this new version of Titanic is almost 4 times higher than that of the 2012 HD version. The result is a sharper image, smoother moving objects and a wider color gamut for a realistic and natural look.
