Bimbisara Not Raised Kalyan Ram Image

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's Bimbisara was not only the biggest grosser in the actor's career, but also stood as one of the highly profitable ventures among the small budget flicks, last year. The super success of the film was thought to be a ladder for the Nandamuri star to go to the next level. 

But then, having gone through the box office stats of Kalyan Ram's latest venture, Amigos, it's understood that Bimbisara is in no way helpful for Amigos. It can be assessed with the first day collections of Kalyan Ram's films. 

Bimbisara minted Rs.6.30 crore share on the first day of its release. Obviously, Amigos was expected to earn close to Bimbisara collections if not surpassing Bimbisara on the first day. On the contrary, Amigos collected just Rs.2.03 crore collections on the first day which is even lesser than the first day collections (Rs.2.20 crore) of 'Entha Manchi Vadavu Raa' which hit the screens prior to the release of Bimbisara. 

Kalyan Ram needs to work more for the films of jaw dropping content to ensure his image would grow by leaps and bounds.
