Shahrukh Khan's Pathaan did unthinkable. It has crossed the Rs 500 Crores nett mark at the box office in India. Previously Baahubali 2 has breached this mark but Pathaan is the first Bollywood produced film to achieve this feat. Initially everyone thought it would make 300-350 crores but to everyone's surprise Pathaan zoomed past the Rs 500 crore mark. It has collected a global boxoffice gross of Rs 970 Crores and will surely cross the Rs 1000 crores mark.
Looking at the tremendous success of Pathaan, top multiplex chains have decided to celebrate SRK starrer Pathaan day on Friday, Feb 17. Coming in as good news for fans, the film which will witness a successful fourth Friday, calling it as a Pathaan Day, Tickets are to be sold at Rs 110 flat. Top theater chains PVR, Inox, Cinepolis, Miraj, Movietime, Mukta A2 & other participating cinemas have come together to celebrate this Friday as Pathaan Day. These cinemas have decided that every ticket of Pathaan will be priced at Rs.110 across all theaters in these chains.
Pathaan also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham along with Salman Khan in a special cameo. The film is written and directed by Siddharth Anand and bankrolled by Yash Raj Films. It is the fourth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. The movie was released on January 25, 2023, along with dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu.
